Meet the Herbalist

Daisy Mae - Medical Herbalist & Founder of Ceratonia Gardens.

Daisy's life has always been about understanding the Wisdom of the natural world and our connection within it.

She qualified as a medical herbalist in 2004 and has been working as a full time clinician & facilitator of learning ever since.

Daisy is the founder of Ceratonia. Together with her partner Corey she has developed Ceratonia into  a centre for healing and education in the Algarve.

Daisy is a gardener, medicine maker, meditator and is passionate about the Plants and the Trees.

The Gardens

Ceratonia Gardens provides medicinal gardens which include an abundance of wild flowers, bushes and beautiful old Olive, Carob and Almond trees.

The planted Herb areas include Calendula's garden, which is planned around the Chakra system, The Enchanted Garden, The Medicine Wheel in honour of the Seven Directions, and a new area named the Apothecary Baths.

Herbal Classes and Events at Ceratonia

There are various herbal classes and events happening at Ceratonia Gardens throughout the year, ranging from a herbal garden walk to a full day herbal class or a 5 day residential immersion for herbal students and practitioners.
